The Gemmi region offers you wonderful hiking trails in the summer and well maintained cross country tracks during winter time. |
The Sport Arena offers a lot of different sports activities for the whole family such as tennis, squash ice skating or fitness. A fun playground and minigolf course are close by. The skiing area for beginners is located right in front of the Sport Arena. |
In the summertime, Torrent is the starting point for a lot of beautiful hiking or mountain bike tours, for paragliding etc. During winter you can go skiing or walking while enjoying the impressive panorama of the Swiss Alps. |

The climbing trail up to the Daubenhorn mountain is the largest and most difficult one in the Alps. It is open from the middle of July to the beginning of October, depending on weather conditions. |

The restaurant "Birchen" is located on the so-called "Römerweg" (a hiking trail) in the hamlet of Birchen. Ideal for a half-hour walk from the village.
